By:  Nancy Dees, Artistic Guide

Finished card size: 5.5 by 4.25 inches

Supplies:
Stamps:
Unmounted (maker unknown)
Paper:
Hobby Lobby 8.5” x 11”
Ink:
Wild Wasabi (StampinUp)
Other:
Paper Flowers (K & Company)
Paper cutter
scissors
adhesive

Directions:

  1. Cut your cardstock as you would for an A2 card (cutting the paper in half on the long (11”) side.  Make sure your cardstock is heavy enough to stay standing after it is folded and decorated.
  2. Line this cardstock up on your paper cutter with the 8 ½” placed lengthwise at the 3” mark on the cutter.  Start at 1” and cut to 6 ½”.
  3. Score the 2 ½” side at 4 ¼”.
  4. Score the 3” side at 1”, 2”, 3 ¼’, 4 ½” and 6 ½”.
  5. Fold the 2 ½” side down at the score line.
  6. Fold the first score on the 3” side down.  Fold the next score up (mountain-valley). Continue to alternate folding score lines this way.  Your last score line should be folded down.
  7. Decorate according to your taste.  I used some pre-cut paper flowers, but this would work with almost any embellishments.
  8. My greeting was stamped and added to the left hand side of the card.
