  1. This was a very simple card to make I started by doing a Google search for free Girl Scout coloring pages.  I resized the image, printed it out and then colored it with my Copic markers.IMG_1114
  2. The background is a very simple one.  Using your Copic Markers, apply multiple colors of dots around your image--it's very easy to do and makes a nice background.  Continue making dots until you like it.
  3. Then I embossed the Core'dination paper and sanded it with a sanding block.
  4. The last step is to write out the greeting and assemble your card.IMG_1118

However, what I want to stress about this card is how I found my image.  We all know how to get on the internet and search for an image.  But have you ever looked at all the wonderful free (yes, free) coloring pages out there?  They have saved me more then once when I needed something special.  Just type in the subject, select a result and download your image.  But a word of caution here.  Make sure you have an anti-virus program, because when you download free stuff you must be careful.

There are thousands of Disney coloring pages alone, which is a great place to start when looking for copyright protected images that you might not be able to find elsewhere.

Thanks for stopping by,
