Double Letterpress

Recently I was online and saw a technique on Stamp TV called Double Letterpress.  I just love techniques and just had to try this one.

As a reminder, here is the sketch.

You take an embossing folder and apply distress ink to the side where the image is debossed.  You then put your paper in the embossing folder and emboss it.  I took the paper out of the embossing folder and applied a second color of distress ink to the paper by rubbing the distress pad over the raised areas.  I then added a third color with a sponge dauber.  I just love the look.

The stamp I used on this card is from Stampin' Up!.  I also used a photo corner punch from Stampin' Up!  All the paper was paper from my stash.

Sorry I did not have time to add a bunch of pictures.  I am expecting my first grandchild anyday.  By the time this is posted, he should be here.  I am just getting the hang of being on the team here and promise to get better about posting pictures for the projects.
