Easel Card-Nancy’s View

Finished size: 4.5 by 5.5 inches

Verse, bird and bird cage (Outlines by Hampton Arts)
white card stock  (Marco's paper)
leaf green card stock (Hobby Lobby)
Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko)
Memento Markers in Desert Sand, Pear Tart, Summer Sky and Cantaloupe (Tsukineko)

1/8" double face tape (from stash)

  1. Cut base CS to 4.25 by 8.5 inches.
  2. Score horizontally at 4.25 and at 6 3/8 inches.  Use your bone folder to smooth both folds toward the center of the CS.
  3. Cut second piece of CS to 4.25 by 5.5". This will be your picture on the easel. Stamp or decorate this piece as desired before attaching. When you are ready to attach, use your double face tape and outline the small section of the card base close to the edge. Remove the tape covering and attach the lower half of your 'picture' to the base.
  4. Add any stamping you wish to the inside of the card. Place your dimensional embellishments about one half the way up the inside of the card. This will allow your easel to stand up and display you 'picture' nicely.
