Stampscapes Retirement Card
By: Vickie Kertz, Artistic Guide
Finished card size: 8.5 by 5.5 inches.
This is a retirement card I made for a guy I work with that had been employed there for 45 years. I debated for a while on this one, but decided that a Stampscapes card would be perfect. My cards are usually 4.25" x 5.50", but this one is 5.50" x 8.50". The reason for the bigger card is that I wanted more room for everyone to sign.

The images were stamped on glossy paper with Archival Ink--Jet Black (Ranger). This ink is waterproof. I love the look of Stampscape cards, but have not made a lot of them. I do feel that for the beginner a more monochromatic card is easier. I used a Color Box stylus and foam tip to put down the color. For the color I used die ink in shades of green and a little yellow for the moon. I usually start with the lightest and go to the darker as I build my shading.
