Holiday Quickies: New Year Button

Directions:

  1. I started with this.
  2. Paint button with gesso.  It took me two coats to cover up the printing.  Let dry between coats.
  3. Stamp swirl with green chalk ink.
  4. Stamp drink with black ink.  Color with copic markers and cut out.
  5. Stamp Candy Cane with Ladybug ink and cut out.
  6. Attach candy cane to glass and glass to button with Zig glue.
  7. Cut out letters to spell "Happy New Year"  Arrange letters in a pleasing manner on button.
  8. Seal with glossy medium.
  9. Wear your button on New Year's Eve.
