Directions:

1. I love this time of year when the flowers sprout and begin to grow and bloom. Flowers have so many vivid shades of color.  I wanted to make a card that brings out some of those colors.
2. My first decision was the stamps to use and then the color of ink and embossing powder.
   
3. I stamped the first flower with pink ink and covered with red embossing powder and embossed.  Next I stamped the flower with blue ink, covered with blue embossing powder and embossed.  I stamped the yellow flower with distress ink that dries to fast to emboss, but it was the shade of yellow that I wanted and I planned to use glitter glue on the finished card.  I then cut out each of the flowers.
   
4. On light yellow paper I stamped the text.  I centered the die cut over the text and taped in place so it wouldn’t slide.  I ran it through my Cuttlebug several times to get a good cut.
   
5. I began by putting a ribbon through the ends of die cut but I didn’t like the look.  I changed by cutting the four covers off the blue paper, tacked the blue with pop dots on the die cut and added the gems.
   
6. Lastly I colored each of the flowers with chalk.  Be sure to spray each flower with either hair spray or fixative or otherwise the chalk will wear off.
   
7. The final steps were arranging the flowers that were attached with pop dots and the text die cut was added last with pop dots.  The last thing I did was add dots of glitter glue on the yellow flower.
