I started the card by stamping the butterfly collage stamp in black ink, on white paper and coloring with Copic markers, then trimming. The image.

I measured the image and cut this in thirds and  then cut my mat paper to match each piece of the  butterfly collage. Then the next step was to emboss my background. I have found with the embossing folders from Couture Creations, you want to use heavier card stock because it embosses very deep and  can make thinner paper tear. After that, I used the glitter on the roll.  This is some really fun stuff to use.  I stamped the Mariposa on a scrap of the green with black ink.

The final step was to assemble following the sketch.  Then because most of my cards need some bling. I added the acrylic embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see your version of this sketch!
