When I saw this image on Squigglefly, I knew it was the one I wanted to use. I loved the detail and the saying after a long cold winter in most of the United States. "Is it summer yet?" really spoke to me.
Directions:
- I colored the image using copic markers, then trimmed the image to layer onto green card stock. Next I embossed the yellow card stock with a flower embossing folder and taped the designer paper onto the bottom of the yellow card stock. The ribbon was added to hide the seam. This was layered onto a piece of green card stock. (picture)

- The last thing to be done was to add the gems to the center of the flowers using glue dots. I then layered the yellow flowers onto the green flowers, to give the appearance of leaves. I used glue dots to attach the layers to the card front. (picture)

This was a fun spring project, but a difficult card for me to make since I never work with yellow or green. I hope you enjoy it and that it makes you ready for summer.
