Directions:

  1. When I think about black and white cards I think about something that is classy, sophisticated, something that stands out.  I have some really neat black and white designer paper that I’ve wanted to use and the card shown above what I came up with.
  2. [town2] I began by deciding what materials I was going to use.  Of course, once I got started I found the ribbon I’d selected was too wide for the design and used something else.
  3. [town3]This is a simple card.  I stamped the image, embossed and trimmed the white paper.  I then bordered with white polka dots and the solid black paper and set aside.  I cut the patterned paper to 4.125” x 5.375” and glued the polka ribbon down the dividing line on the paper.  Then I glued the designer paper to the black glossy cardstock base of the card.  I positioned off-centered the stamped image layers and attached with pop-dots.  Lastly I attached black gems in the upper right hand corner and in the center of each of the flowers.
  4. I will add a small verse such as ‘happy birthday’, etc., when I decided who I’ll send it to.  Don't forget to sign your card on the back.
