Happy Anniversary, Stamper’s Quest
July 2011 marks the third anniversary of our on-line magazine, Stamper's Quest. I thought it was fitting to do an anniversary card to honor all the designers, past and present, guest designers, advertisers, and friends, who have contributed to the success of this venture. We also want to honor all our readers, without whom there would be no reason for a magazine! It has been my extreme pleasure to be associated with Stamper's Quest for one year starting in July of last year. I don't think I've ever done anything that even closely resembles "work" in my entire life that has given me as much joy as contributing in anyway I can to Stamper's Quest.
I know the theme I picked for the card is particularly symbolic in the United States. July 4th is a federal holiday here, commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence. And while it's exclusive to this nation, much of what happens on this national holiday could be celebrated anytime, anywhere. In addition to the political speeches and ceremonies, we also have fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, and family reunions, all dedicated to celebrating freedom, tradition, and family. My family will be spending the day at a barbeque hosted by very close friends who just happened to have been married on July 4, ten years ago today. They will be getting the card I made. (How's that for multi-tasking?)
During this third anniversary month we are on a search for new designers to add to our super talented team. If you are interested, click here to see the details.
So wherever you live, and however you spend today, I hope you will join us in celebrating our own little anniversary here at Stamper's Quest.
Until next time, Happy Stamping!
