“Wisdom…” sentiment (Close To My Heart)
Paper:
Grey and Black cardstock (Bazzill)
Cloudy (Club Scrap)
Ink:
Black StazOn ink pad (Tsukineko)
Other:
Humungo Adhesive (Ten Second Studio)
Slate Metal
Brass Brush (Ten Second Studio)
Directions:
- Start by cutting a piece of Slate Colored Metal to 3” x 3.25”. Cut a piece of black cardstock to 3.25” x 3.5”. Place cut piece of Slate on top of Humungo adhesive and cut out. Peel back off adhesive and layer on top of back cardstock.
- Ink up large elephants with black ink and stamp onto piece of slate colored metal. Let dry. Carefully use the brass brush tool to remove the slate color from around the outside edge of the elephant stamp. Take extra care not to go over the image.
- Cut a piece of cloudy rain paper to 4.125” x 5.375”. Cut a piece of grey Bazzill cardstock to 5.5” x 8.5” and fold in half. Adhere the 4.125” x 5.375” piece on top of the grey. Stamp the Border image from Sweet Grass stamps on the bottom edge of the card and adhere the finished elephants to the right side of the card.
- Ink the “Wisdom…” sentiment with the black ink and stamp on the left side of the elephants.
- Add a cute birthday sentiment inside and you’ll have a great card for a young man in your life!
I really enjoyed working with these Stamps from Sweet Grass. They inked up wonderfully and the images came out crisp and beautiful!
