More on Masculine Cards
Penny has three more masculine cards to share with you today. As you can see, most of the cards shared by Penny and Melanie these past two weeks show that muted tones work well for 'guy' cards. Color palettes of creams, browns, blues and greens with a little bit of black thrown in, evoke masculinity. Combine these color palettes with patterns such as plaids and stripes for a winning combination sure to please any man in your life. Embellishments like string, mesh, snaps, dark colored brads and eyelets also add a nice masculine feel.
Keep playing and you'll find the masculine card combination that works well for you and all your 'guy' cards!
For directions on making this impressive Diamond Fold card, here is Penny's project from last fall: Diamond Fold Card. Directions for making this variation, the Spring Card, will appear in the February edition of Stamper's Quest. Be watching!

Nature cards such as this one are sure to delight any man.

The background pattern combined with the brown color palette and copper eyelets makes a pleasing masculine look.

The diamond fold card is something I've got to try!
Thanks, Edna. Yes, they are Stampscapes.

These are great! I especially love the words on the pine trees... do you mind sharing the company who made them? I love making masculine cards as I have one son and two grandsons. I, too, use cars often as the "theme" - they all understand cars. Smile. Thanks for sharing your amazing talents...
Enjoyed all the cards you've had!
The pine tree card looks like a stamp from Stampscapes, which I use a lot. A good choice for a man's card. Good choices. Edna
