Sue’s Advent Series – Week One, Tree Border: Day Five
This wraps up the first week of my Advent series. I hope you returned each day and were inspired by the variety of ways I used the tree border stamp by Memory Box. Come back on Monday for Week Two!

Supplies:
Stamps:
Tree Border -D1277 (Memory Box)
Snow flake backgrounds - CL117 (Hero Arts)
Papers:
Matte white cardstock
Decorative paper (My Mind's Eye)
Brown paper (Die Cuts With a View)
Cold press water color paper (unknown)
Inks:
Memento: Rich Cocoa (Tsukineko)
Distress Inks- Broken China, Faded Jeans and Weathered Wood (Ranger)
Other:
Glue stick
Corner rounder punch (unknown)
Circle border punch (EK Success)
Water brush (unknown)
Spritzer bottle with water.
Directions:

Stamp trees on water color paper with brown ink.

Ink the snow flake background with the Distress inks and stamp over the trees.

Spritz the paper and allow the inks to bleed together.

Using your water brush pick up some of the distress ink from the pad and paint the snow line along the base of the trees. Let dry well.

Punch the circle border along the top and round the corners.

Layer the pieces on to your base card.
