My Photos Box for the Adventurer

Finished box size: 8.5” x 6.5”

Keeping old photos safe from humidity always seems to be a problem….. In this project I created a vintage looking Photo Box to keep my precious old photos safe, while they wait to be transformed into beautiful scrapbook pages.

Embroidery Floss


  1. Cover the box with the patterned paper of your choice.

  3. Stamp a border image all around the box.

  5. Punch the bigger flower out of the blue cardstock, then the second flower from the craft paper, then the scalloped circle from the white cardstock and then the smallest flower from the blue cardstock.

  7. Crumple each flower and distress the edges.

  9. Stamp each flower using a manuscript stamp with the Ginger ink pad.  Layer the flower and add a button to the center with embroidery floss.

  11. Add the letters to the journaling card, stamp and distress its border and adhere it to the box cover.

  13. Attach the flower to one of the card’s corner. Add the swirls and gemstones.

  15. And your box is ready!!!!!!!
