Old Wringer Washer

Finished card size: 4.25" x 5.5"

Flourish border stamp (Magenta)
Net stamp (B-Line)
White card stock (Georgia Pacific)
 Black text weight (unknown)
 Jet Black Archival Ink (Ranger)
Soot Black Distressed Ink (Ranger)
Layering rulers (Color Workshop's Perfect Layers)
Water mister
Heat gun or craft iron
Thread cutter (paring knife or table knife will work as well)


  1. Cut white cardstock to 8.5" x 5.5". Fold in half to create a card measuring 4.25" x 5.5".
  2. Alter photo to black and white in editing program.  Trim to desired size and sponge edges with black dye ink.
  3. Glue photo to black text weight black paper.  Trim edges to narrow border using layering rulers.
  4. Stamp the net background stamp with Distressed Ink, mist heavily to cause ink to spread out.  To halt spread of ink, heat, using heat gun or craft iron.  Distress edges with thread cutter (or anything that will rough the edges)  Sponge with black dye ink.
  5. Glue layered photo piece to net, trim wide border using layering rulers. 
  6. Stamp flourish border image with black dye ink to all four sides of the card base.  Sponge the edges with black dye ink.
  7. Glue photo layers to card base.
