Around the World Postcard

Tea Stain Printed Paper (Fiber Scraps)

Ink:
Clear Resist Pad (Ranger)

Dark Brown Chalk Ink Pad (Clearsnap)
Other:
Double Sided Tape (Provo Craft)
Scissors (EK Success)
Paper Trimmer (Purple Cow)
Memory Rub-Ons - Vacation (Provo Craft)

Directions:

  1. Cut a 4.25" x 11" piece of card stock and fold in half to create a card.
  2. Cover the front of the card with a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of the tea stain printed paper and adhere with double sided tape.
  3. Ink the card frame rubber stamp with dark brown ink, center and stamp the card front.

  4. Cut a mask that is 2.5" x 3.5" in size from scrap paper.
  5. Position the mask over the stamped card frame image.
  6. Ink the card frame stamp with the resist ink and position the stamp where the image will print in the center of the exposed top and left hand side of the printed paper.
  7. Ink the card frame stamp once more with resist ink and position it in the lower right hand side of the paper so that the lines of the first stamped image will line up with the second. Allow the ink to dry thoroughly.

  8. Positioning the card so that the long edge is along the top and bottom, stamp the travel image in the upper left hand corner and the circling the globe in the lower right hand side in dark brown ink.
  9. Positioning the mask over the center once more, stamp the Constantinople image at an angle in the lower left hand corner in the reddish ink from the Petal Point pad.
  10. Continuing to mask the center of the card, stamp the Paris Opera House image in the upper right hand corner in the orange ink from the Petal Point pad.

  12. Stamp the postcard image in the box in the center using the dark brown ink.
  13. Fill in any large, empty areas with rub-ons.
