The Blessing in the Pause

The pause we have taken this week has been a refreshing reminder of what really matters in life. These final five tips are a good summary: relationships matter, time is precious, and we all have much for which to be grateful.

  1. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick.  Your friends
    will. Stay in touch!!!
  2. Envy is a waste of time.  You already have all you need.
  3. Each night before you go to bed complete the following statements: I am thankful for __________.   Today I accomplished _________.
  4. Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.
  5. When you are feeling down, start listing your many blessings.
    You'll be smiling before you know it.

It's good now and then to recognize the things that make life good. Our busy lives threaten to rob us of our joy, and it is up to us to pause, reflect, and count our many blessings.

  1. What a beautiful place to bring yourself to at the end of each day. Take a breathe of air, to thank our blessings for what we have than what we don't have. Our health to feel and touch and smell. I thank God for every day that I have to share with my family and friends.

  2. Thanks for the reminders. We frequently are over whelmed by what we think we need vs what we actually need. I love the word grateful.
