Bouquet of Tulips Card

Supplies:
Stamps
:
Tulips, No. 1129-Q (River City Rubber Works)

Paper
:
White cardstock
Purple, yellow, and black textured cardstock (DCWV)

Ink
:
Versamark Watermark Stamp Pad (Tsukineko, Inc.)
Purple and Yellow Crystal Lacquer (Sakura Hobby Craft)

Other
:
Black detail embossing powder (Ranger)
Green markers of your choice

Purple bling dots (Michael's)
Purple ribbon (Michael's)
Double sided tape or other adhesive of choice
Ticket Corner Punch (EK Success or Stampin Up)
Heat embossing tool
Paper trimmer

Directions:

  1. Trim purple cardstock to 6.5" x 5" and adhere to card front with adhesive of choice.
  2. Trim yellow cardstock to 6" x 4.5".
  3. Trim black cardstock to 5.75" x 3.5" and punch corners with ticket corner punch.
  4. Trim white cardstock to 5 3/8" x 3 1/8".
  5. Using Versamark, stamp Tulip image on center of white cardstock, apply black embossing powder, remove excess, and heat set.
  6. Apply the purple and yellow crystal lacquer to the tulips.  Allow to fully dry.  This will give the flowers a very shiny look.

  8. Color in the stems using green makers.
  9. Adhere white cardstock with image to black cardstock; adhere black cardstock to top portion of yellow cardstock; adhere purple bling to corners of yellow cardstock just below each ticket punch.
  10. Wrap ribbon around bottom of yellow cardstock.  Adhere yellow cardstock to purple card front.
  11. Sign back of card and give to someone special.
