Be Mine for the Discoverer

Finished Card Size: A2, 5.5" x 4.25"

Supplies:
Paper:
Pink or Red patterned scrapbook papers (unknown)
White card stock card base (unknown)
Black cardstock (unknown)
Other Supplies:
Heart punches: 2.5", 1.25", .5" (Punch Bunch)
Circle punches (Punch Bunch)
Glaze pens: Black, Purple (Sakura) --Alternative, any felt marker in black and purple

Directions:

  1. Punch out one large heart for the head and two smaller hearts for the ears in patterned scrapbook papers.
  2. Punch out small black heart for nose.
  3. Punch out small scrapbook paper circle for tongue.
  4. Punch out two small black circles for eyes, or you can draw them on the face.
  5. Assemble parts as show in picture.
  6. Place dark dots on face to represent whiskers.
  7. Draw stitching around face parts.
  8. Write phrase below the doggie face.  If desired, draw stitching around the phrase.

This is a great project for kids, or to send to kids.
For a little added depth you could sponge darker color around the edge of the hearts.
The phrase can be computer generated or stamped.
