Directions:

  1. Lay the cardstock on a flat sturdy surface. Coat the brayer with the Roussillon ink and randomly coat the paper with ink.
  2. Ink the Drapery image with Embossing ink and stamp the image along one edge of the cardstock. Coat with Embossing powder and heat to melt.
  3. On a scrap piece of paper, stamp the Drapery image. Trim out neatly.
  4. Place on the embossed image to create a mask and protect the stamped image from any further ink. A small amount of adhesive can be used to hold it in place.
  5. Ink the Flourish image with Ruby ink and randomly stamp on the paper, overlapping the masked image as desired.
  6. Remove the mask from the stamped cardstock. Beginning at the upper left-hand corner of the embossed area, trim along the short edge (5.75"). Repeat along the right-hand edge of the embossed area.
  7. Roll the cardstock into a cone shape with the embossed area at the top. A small hole should be left for the tassel to poke out.
  8. While holding the point in the back where the two sides of cardstock overlap, run a line of adhesive down the center to hold the cone shape.
  9. Punch a hole at the top point in the back of the cone and attach an eyelet to prevent tearing. Cut a piece of wire about 2" long, thread through the eyelet and twist into a loop for hanging.
  10. With scissors, trim any excess cardstock about .25" away from the center.
  11. Add floral picks to each flower. The wire from the pick should thread through the center of each flower. Add seed beads for stamens and thread back through the hole. Wrap any excess wire around the pick.
  12. To decorate the cone, attach the tassel at the bottom.
  13. Add the ribbon and place a small piece of Floral Foam inside.
  14. Arrange the flowers working the largest into the back and adding smaller flowers to the front.
  15. Enjoy sharing!
