Holiday Blizzard Project – Marcia’s Holly Jolly Acetate Greetings


Holly Jolly Christmas Card

Supplies:
Stamps:
Christmas Critters clear stamp set (Penny Black)
Snowflakes (Studio G)          
Sentiment (Studio G)
Ink:    
White Opaque ink pad (Staz-on)
Jet Black ink pad (Staz-on)
Old Olive ink pad (Stampin'Up)        
Paper:
White (2.5" x 3" and 3" x 3.5")  and Red (2.25" x 2.75") Cardstock (Bazzil)
Other supplies:
Acetate Card (unknown)
Watercolor pencils
White puffy paint (Tulip)
Icicle Stickles (Ranger)
Mini buttons
Red ribbon
Slide Die  (Cuttebug)
Pop dots and glue dots

Directions:

  1. Stamp Snowflakes randomly on the Acetate card using the White Opaque Staz-on. Round the edges using a corner rounder punch.
  2. Stamp the Critter image on White cardstock with Staz-on Jet Black ink and color it using the watercolor pencils. Sponge edges with Old Olive ink.
  3. Using a scalloped scissors, cut along the edges of the stamped image forming a rectangle. Then cut a red cardstock rectangle a little bigger than the White scalloped piece. Glue both pieces together.
  4. Add Stickles and Puffy Paint to the image (hat and snow).
  5. Add the Buttons to the stamped image.
  6. Stamp the Sentiment to the slide, sponge the edges with Old Olive ink.
  7. Add the ribbon to the slide and glue it to the card front.
  8. Apply the rectangle to the card front using pop dots.
  9. Cut another piece of white cardstock with scalloped scissors and glue it to the inside of the card (this is where you will write your message).
  10. Now sign your card!!
