By: Shelly Newkirk, Artistic GuideĀ
Finished Card Size: A2, 4.25" x 5.5"
Supplies:
Stamps:
Snowflake (Stampendous)
Merry Christmas (Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers)
Ink:
VersaMark ink pad (Tsukineko)
Black pigment ink pad (Stampendous)
Paper:
White cardstock card base (Georgia Pacific)
Other Supplies:
Ivory embossing powder (Think Ink)
Gold fine line embossing powder (Think Ink)
Baby Powder
Embossing Heat Gun (Uchida)
Directions:
- Dust entire front of card base with Baby Powder to prevent embossing powder from sticking to anything BUT what is stamped.
- Using the VersaMark ink pad, stamp Snowflake on upper portion of card, apply Ivory embossing powder and melt with a heat gun.
- If your fingers touched the bottom portion of the card, dust with the Baby Powder again so the oils from your fingers will not trap any embossing powder.
- Stamp Merry Christmas with Black pigment ink, apply fine line Gold embossing powder, melt with the heat gun.
Basic Stamping Tip:
For subtle elegance, use Ivory embossing powder on White cardstock or White embossing powder on ivory cardstock.
