Inks:
Black Pigment (Stampendous)
Paper:
Vellum (unknown)
Red cardstock (unknown)
Dark Green cardstock (unknown)
Debbie Mumm Holiday Mat Stack (DCWV)
Green glitter cardstock, (unknown)
Red glitter cardstock, (unknown)
Other Supplies:
Paper corrugator (Fiskars)
Crafters Pick Ultimate Glue
Deckle & Scallop decorative scissors (Fiskars)
Christmas tree & Snowflake punches (unknown)
Green and Red glitter embossing powder (Stampendous)
Vellum tape (unknown)
Directions:
- Glue Plaid paper to card base, trim off excess.
- Glue Green patterned paper strip to Dark Green card stock and trim with deckle scissors. Glue to left side of card.
- Lightly dust Vellum with Baby Powder, stamp phrase with Black pigment and melt with heat gun. Trim to a rectangle.
- Using Vellum Tape, attach Vellum to Red cardstock and trim with scallop decorative scissors.
- Corrugate Dark Green cardstock and glue layers made in steps 3 & 4 to corrugated Dark Green cardstock. Trim with deckle scissors and glue to card in approximate position shown in picture.
- Punch a Christmas tree from Dark Green cardstock & glue to top portion of strip.
- Punch a small snowflake from Red Glitter cardstock and glue to Vellum in approximate position shown in picture.
Basic Stamping Tip:
How to make your embossing powder darker or lighter:
This can be done by the color of the pigment ink that you use. A Black pigment ink used under the embossing powder will make your embossing powder at least one shade darker. So this means that a Clear pigment ink or VersaMark will slightly lighten your embossing powder. To stay as true to color as possible try to use a pigment ink that is close to the color of your embossing powder.
