Green and Red glitter Embossing Powder (Stampendous)
Crafters Pick Ultimate Glue
Baby Powder or Anti-Static Bag

  1. Glue Christmas tree patterned and glittered paper to card base and trim to fit the base.
  2. Cut Red paper strip and a narrow Green Glitter paper strip. Glue glitter strip to Red.  Now glue the Red   and Green layers to card.
  3. Using Baby Powder or Anti-Static Bag, dust the White card stock, stamp Christmas phrase, apply Embossing Powder and melt with heat gun.
  4. With Punch upside down, position stamped phrase in center of Punch and punch.
  5. Sponge edges of Punched-out square phrase with Dark Green ink.
  6. Punch out a Green Glitter Snowflake and glue to square phase.
  7. Glue square phrase over the Red and Green layered strip.  I positioned it so more of my pretty glittery tree pattern showed.

Basic Stamping Tip:
To keep your punches in good working order:

  • Lubricate them by punching waxed paper.
  • Sharpen them by punching aluminum foil.

How I do it - gluing paper to base and trimming:

  • I match up the top and left side of the paper to the card base.
  • Turn the card over and you have the card base itself to use as a guide.
  • Take a large sharp pair of scissors and trim closely on the bottom and side where the excess paper can be easily seen.  With a little practice and care, you will be able to have a perfect cut every time.
