A free stamping resource!

Welcome From the Editor

Greetings From the Editor ~

A quest1, according to Merriam Webster, is an act or instance of seeking. In other words, a quest is a search for something. In literature, quests are often begun by noble knights in order to obtain fame, wealth, or perhaps the hand of a lovely princess.

Artists, rubber stampers in particular, always seek to learn new techniques, new products, and new ideas in order that they may become masters of their craft. Here at Stamper's Quest, we resolve to bring to you, our readers, the best techniques, products and ideas with every quarterly publication and every weekly blog.

A team of seven fantastic designers is working together to create the best Zine dedicated to the art of rubber stamping available on newsstands and on the Web. Each issue will contain supply lists and directions for projects on three different levels. The "Discoverer" projects are cards designed for the new rubber stamp artist. These projects will include basic techniques and few steps so that those discovering rubber stamping can have quick success. "Adventurer" projects are also cards, but they use more intermediate techniques and may have many steps to completion. Finally, the "Inventor" projects are a backpack full of advanced projects: cards, home décor, wearable art, and whatever else our gifted designers can create.

You'll find "Side Trails" along your journey through the Zine as well. These are sketches designed exclusively for Stamper's Quest by our very talented designer, Regena. These ideas are sure to get your creative juices flowing.

"From Our Backpack" will contain product reviews of the tools we need to create! We have many stops along the trail, and one of interest is our "Points of Interest", where you will find links and names of vendors we obtain our products from. "The Watering Hole," where weary travelers find rest and refreshment, is our weekly blog where our guides will post ideas, thoughts, and bonus projects.

Come quest for the best of rubber stamp art with us. It's sure to be an exciting journey.
